Not forgetting about the outlaw kart we will be traveling to West Coast Nationals in Red Bluff California as well as the Kyle Larson Outlaw Kart Showcase at Cycleland Speedway. In 2018 we will be moving up to the open division in the micro sprint ranks planning to run the entire points series at Sunset Speedway as well as River City Speedway and traveling to Deming Speedway whenever we have a break in our schedule suitable to travel.
In 2016 we also ran the restricted car in the open class and found success there as well. In 2016 falling short of the championship in the restricted class we finished 2nd place in the points series picking up 1 A main win, 1 fast time, 2 trophy dashes, and multiple heat race wins. Finishing 7th in the championship points series at Sunset Speedway in 2015, we set our sights on the championship the following year. Starting in the restricted class to get a feel for the bigger car and other mechanical differences, our first year had it's ups and downs as expected. Since then our team has traveled to 5 outlaw kart tracks out of the state of Oregon, won two 500cc open outlaw kart points championships and many A main starts at high caliber races.Īt the age of 16 Casey moved up into the micro sprint ranks, while still competing in races in the outlaw karts. When she was just 14 she moved up to the 500cc open ranks of outlaw kart racing and never looked back. Making her debut in 2012 a 125cc outlaw kart her love for the sport grew from there. When she was 12 she hung up her skates, strapped on her helmet and climbed into a racecar. Growing up she was a figure skater, being on the ice 6-7 days a week. Casey Starr is a 19 year old, 3rd generation racecar driver from Newberg, Oregon.
